FINDING THE EQUATION WITH A POINT/VERTEX

When finding the equation in vertex form with the vertex and point. Here is what you need to do.

Subsitutde your vertex into "h" and "k" and your last points you sub them into the "x" and "y" of the equation and solve for "a". When you find your "a" value, Your final answer should have your vertex and "a" value in your new vertex form equation. (If there is no "a" value then right the equation with vertex only and take out the "a" in the equation becoming "(x-h)^2+k".

You will recieve two points, one is the vertex and the other are can be any point...
