DIFFERENCES OF SQUARES

First differences is a binomial factoring of special products as an example shown here...

But on the other hand, if it is a difference of squares, you can factor it for your final answer as x^2 - 4 can be translated into (x-2) and (x+2). (There should be a "+" and "_" in the 2 expressions as it is called a "Difference of squares"

Keep in mind that if the expression is not a difference of squares then it cannot be factored and the two normal terms will be your answer
